The first ever Stamford Queen Eleanor variety show was deemed a runaway success after selling out over its three day run.
The show features acts such as comedians, dance troupes and a tribute to Channel 4’s Glee, delighted crowds every night. The highlight of the show was without doubt the hosts – Alex Rhodes and Tom Hemming – who were hilarious as The Two Ronnies.
Drama teacher and organiser Gemma Gaynor said “The students have been working really hard for months and it was great to see their hard work pay off. The variety was a great showcase for the tremendous talent we have here at Stamford Queen Eleanor and judging by the audience reaction the show was a brilliant success. Everyone is looking forward to organising a similar event next year”.
